Job Description
Manager Online PR & Social Media to be based at Mumbai
As a Manager Online PR & Social Media your responsibilities include the following
~ Develop, manage and oversee implementation of public relations programs with a focus on Traditional and Social Media.
~ Fully manage and initiate strategic and creative planning of PR campaigns in Social Media and projects (integrated with marketing, advertising consumer activation, and promotional activities)
~ Work closely with traditional and social media to secure ongoing product coverage; producing sales materials and other communications to support brand initiatives.
~ Plan PR campaigns, press launches and media outreach with respective markets – and oversee execution
~ Produce attention-grabbing press releases; developing story pitches targeted to consumer and trade niches
~ Manage PR Agencies on category assignments
~ Work to innovate and integrate the use of technology/social media into all PR efforts
Essential Requirement
~ Graduate / PG in Mass Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Social Media or related field preferred
~ 0 TO 2 years of PR experience with a heavy focus on social media
~ Creative thinker able to generate fresh original ideas targeted to today's consumer needs and trends
~ You must be digital native. You probably write a blog and have a significant present on Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook
~ Ability to write clearly and in an engaging fashion.
~ Real-world social networking skills
~ Proven track record in traditional PR including message refinement, news release writing and editing
~ Experience in sustaining long lifecycle product interest through creative PR tactics
